Almere Women's International Activation: Preparation and Build-up

Noel and I drove energetically to the Almere Topsportcentrum for the Almere Women's International activation. The Orange Angels were facing Slovakia in the qualifying matches, and we were once again able to surprise the crowd with our arcade machine. It's always a challenge to get that thing up and running, but where there's a will, there's a way – and teamwork makes everything possible!

As soon as everything was set up, the first children streamed to the arcade machine. It's always so cool to see how the Almere Women's International activation always draws lines of enthusiastic participants! Kids, parents, everyone wants to shoot, laugh, and challenge each other. While they waited, we kept them active with the silly bouncers: who has the fastest reaction time?

It's extra fun when you see familiar faces – shout-out to Jamil Wip, Don Richters, and of course Esther Fokke, who, despite illness, shone with a few beautiful three-pointers. Her perseverance was infectious for the entire team. And against all odds: the Orange Angels secured the victory against Slovakia!
