Black Eagles Anniversary: ​​55 Years of Basketball Fun in Rosmalen

On Saturday, September 6th, the Black Eagles basketball club from Rosmalen celebrated its 55th anniversary and the official season opening. Showcase Basketball was there to celebrate this special milestone with the club and its members – and what a party it was!

A club with history and future

Black Eagles has been a household name in Rosmalen and far beyond for 55 years. The club lives and breathes basketball and has united hundreds of players, volunteers, and fans over the years. During the anniversary celebrations, the focus was not only on the past, but especially on the future: new generations kicking off the season together, full of energy and ambition.

We were able to add a special touch to the anniversary with an interactive freestyle basketball show. Young and old gathered around the court, ready for a surprise. The atmosphere was immediately electric: children tried out new tricks, parents and coaches spontaneously joined in, and even former members were briefly in the spotlight. One of the best moments? When a group of minis performed their first successful trick show – the pride was palpable!

What made this day so special was the mix of nostalgia and innovation. You could feel the strength of the Black Eagles community, where everyone is welcome and learns and grows together.
