Before the signing, we reviewed the first two months of the project with Randy and discussed specific areas for improvement. We were so caught up in it that we lost track of time, and Mirjam came to pick us up.
The moment of signing at the large table in the boardroom feels very special. There I am, someone who previously seemed to be a poor fit for the school system, with two partners and my own initiative. It's truly special, wonderful, and honored that I'll be able to influence one of Rotterdam's most progressive, top-tier sports schools. I feel proud when I think of the difference we've already made in the past two months and can continue to make in the coming years, so that hopefully all young people feel understood, heard, and seen.
After the official signing, we'll continue with the agenda. As the driving force and project coordinator, I'm responsible for the content of the lessons and collaborate with other workshop leaders. Finally, we'll take some beautiful photos, and with great hope and anticipation, I look forward to continuing our collaboration with this innovative school that dares to think outside the box. It's something I'm truly excited about and feel completely at home with!
