The SB arcade machine was present at the Youth Relay kickoff at the ADO Stadium. What immediately stood out? A relaxed atmosphere, a creative design, and a place where young people can truly be themselves.

Upon entering, I was immediately drawn by the energetic vibe. A panna cage took center stage, and young people challenged each other to quick matches. There were also gaming booths where PlayStation was played enthusiastically, a DJ booth where emerging talent could showcase their music, and even a ping-pong table. In short: a place where young people can express themselves, regardless of their passion.

Why Youth Relay is so important for the city

At a time when many young people are hanging around on the streets and there are too few places for them to develop, Jeugdestafette is a breath of fresh air. The initiative brings young people together, allows them to express their creativity, and discover new talents.

I thought back to my own youth – how I wish I had seen more initiatives like this! It's a solution that truly makes a difference for the city and the young people themselves. The atmosphere, the opportunities, and the positive energy make young people feel seen and heard.
